As part of the Talents initiative launched by Luxembourg for Finance (LFF) and supported by the Ministry of Finance, the ACA has continued its commitment to showcasing Luxembourg’s insurance ecosystem to young talents across Europe.
During the first half of 2026, representatives of the ACA and the sector presented Luxembourg during visits to several major academic institutions: the University of Limerick in April, Antwerp Management School and KU Leuven in May, and the Sorbonne in June.
These interventions provided students with a comprehensive overview of Luxembourg’s insurance sector in all its dimensions – life insurance, non-life insurance and reinsurance – and raised their awareness of the trends reshaping the industry. More than simple academic presentations, these meetings offered a concrete opportunity to demonstrate how insurance contributes to economic stability, business resilience and the protection of individuals in the face of contemporary challenges.

The objective of this initiative goes far beyond the academic sphere. In an era where talent is mobile and career choices are diverse, it is essential that younger generations understand the opportunities the Luxembourg insurance sector offers. Whether in technological innovation, sophisticated portfolio management, global reinsurance or regulatory compliance, our sector provides rich and varied career paths.
By presenting these opportunities to leading students – future decision-makers, innovators and experts – the ACA helps strengthen the talent pool upon which Luxembourg’s competitiveness will depend in the decades to come. These initiatives represent investments in the future of our financial centre.
