We take the respect of your privacy and the confidentiality of the data we may process in the course of our activities very seriously.

Our privacy policy applies to visitors of our website aca.lu and to participants of the ACA Insurance Day or participants in any other event organised by ACA.

Data Controller

The data controller designates the entity responsible for the manner in which personal data is and will be processed, transmitted and stored.

Within the framework of its corporate purpose and its missions, ACA is required to process personal data (“data”). It pays great attention to the respect of privacy and in particular to data protection. All data processing is carried out in accordance with the regulations applicable in this matter.

I. Types of Data Processed

ACA collects, records and stores, in particular, the following data: personal identification data (surname, first name, gender, address, telephone number, date of birth, nationality, signature, photograph, videography, etc.), electronic identification data (email address), data relating to civil and professional status (marital status, profession, etc.), financial data (bank account number, etc.).

In any event, ACA ensures that only adequate and relevant data is collected, recorded and stored.

II. Purposes of Data Processing

ACA only processes the data necessary for the purposes pursued by the various processing operations (data minimisation and proportionality).

The data is processed solely for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by ACA (managing the relationship with members; managing the various Commissions and Working Groups of ACA; managing invitations to events and meetings; managing the communication of ACA publications; photographic and videographic content produced during ACA events may be used for non-commercial purposes for the promotion of the event and/or the activities of ACA).

III.   Confidentiality and Security of Data

ACA processes data confidentially and in a manner compatible with the purposes indicated above.

It implements all appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk identified by the processing concerned.

IV.   Data Retention Period

ACA retains the data for the period necessary for the purpose for which the data was processed or for as long as an applicable legal obligation so requires.

VII.  Image Rights and Respect for Privacy

Pursuant to the GDPR, the law concerning the protection of privacy and image rights, we inform you that within the framework of the private event ACA Insurance Day or any other event organised by ACA, participants may be photographed or filmed in a professional and respectful manner. This content may be used for non-commercial purposes for the promotion of the event and/or the activities of ACA.

VIII.   Complaint Procedure

To exercise their rights, the data subject may address their request concerning the processing of their data or their complaint either by email to the address aca@aca.lu, or by post to the address of ACA (for the attention of the DPO): 12, rue Erasme, L-1468 Luxembourg. A double-sided copy of the data subject’s valid identity document must imperatively be transmitted to ACA.
