Review of Luxembourg Pavilion ACA at the “Forum Gestion privée”

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, ACA participated in the “Forum Gestion privée” organized by AGEFI at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris. Under the evocative theme “Will French Private Banks Miss Their Turn?”, this event caught the attention of private wealth management professionals. For the first time, ACA proudly displayed a Luxembourg pavilion, represented by six of its members, thus showcasing Luxembourg life insurance.

Luxembourg life insurance, often regarded as the “Swiss Army knife” – albeit Luxembourgish! – of financial services, offers a plethora of advantages and opportunities for French private wealth management professionals. To shed further light on these aspects, six ACA members attending the event participated in two captivating roundtable discussions dedicated to Luxembourg life insurance. These exchanges highlighted the fundamental importance of considering the Luxembourg offering in the current context of wealth and financial management.

First and foremost, Luxembourg is globally recognized for its solid regulatory environment and political stability. These fundamental elements provide a foundation of trust for investors and ensure optimal legal security for the management of their assets.

Furthermore, Luxembourg life insurance offers unparalleled flexibility. It allows for personalized investment solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client, particularly in the realm of wealth management, estate planning, or asset diversification.

Moreover, as a leading international financial center, Luxembourg provides privileged access to European and global markets. This strategic position enables French private wealth management professionals to explore a wide range of investment opportunities while benefiting from the advantages of the Luxembourg jurisdiction. Our financial sector is inherently international.

Lastly, Luxembourg life insurance perfectly meets the expectations of French investors, given that life insurance is the primary savings vehicle in France, with a collection of 2.4 billion euros in 2023. All European regulations are meticulously respected by professionals with over 20 years of expertise in the French market.

The ACA Luxembourg pavilion brought together insurance companies well-known in the French market, as at ACA, we gather Luxembourgish pure-play companies as well as subsidiaries of French groups. This presence at the Forum Gestion privée in Paris fully demonstrates the importance of Luxembourg life insurance in the French financial landscape.
